LitWits Reading Club
What is LitWits?
LitWits is the reading program of the Landrum High School Media Center. Our program is designed to foster a love of reading among students and reward the reading success of our students. Reading celebrations are held throughout the year and students who read five books each semester are invited on a field trip to see a movie at NCG Cinemas in the fall and spring semester. Students who participate in the Summer Reading Program at the Spartanburg County Public Library will also be invited to a Summer Reading Celebration at the beginning of the school year. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Smith in the Media Center.

How to Participate
Reading is tracked through a game card that is available in the Media Center. Each student must complete five tasks on the front of the card ranging from recording a book talk to reading a book from a specific genre to reading a book recommended by Mrs. Smith. Each student is required to read five different books during the current semester to qualify for the field trip. One book cannot be used for more than one task on the activity card. Students must turn in the card by the specified due date to qualify for the field trip to NCG Cinemas.
